Ballroom Group Classes

Group classes are normally offered on a quarterly basis at Ida Lee Recreation Center in Leesburg, VA.

Four sections of classes are available.

Ballroom 101 is a survey course that focuses on the basics of multiple dance styles.  Over an 8 week course, a new dance is taught each week. This offers a "taste" of the most popular dances. The perfect starting point, if one is not sure which dances to take.

Level I classes are appropriate for beginner dancers. These classes focus on a single dance for the 8 week duration. The instruction is cumulative, as each week builds on previous patterns. This is a great way to get a strong start in a particular dance.

Level II classes are appropriate for intermediate dancers or beginner dancers with a background in the chosen dance. Each class will focus on advanced patterns and techniques building cumulatively each week. These classes are a great way to take your basic knowledge to the next level.

Workshops are 2 hour intensive classes focusing on a variety of topics.

Partners are not required!
